FL Innovation News is built by the community it covers. We publish work from a combination of local contributors, business leaders, and journalists across Florida — and we’re always looking for new voices who know the state’s innovation, startup, and business landscape.
Who We’re Looking For
- Journalists & writers covering Florida technology, startups, entrepreneurship, health, and business.
- Founders & operators with firsthand insight and thought leadership to share.
- Local experts who can explain what’s happening in their corner of Florida’s economy.
What to Pitch
We welcome original reporting, interviews, analysis, and thoughtful opinion tied to Florida’s innovation economy. Strong pitches are specific, timely, and offer readers something they can’t get anywhere else. We do not accept purely promotional content; sponsored or partner content is clearly labeled and handled separately.
How to Submit
Email a short pitch (2–3 sentences) plus a writing sample or your background to flinnovationnews@gmail.com with “Contributor Pitch” in the subject line, or reach us through our Contact page. If it’s a fit, we’ll follow up with next steps and our editorial guidelines.
Our Standards
All contributors are expected to follow our Editorial Standards for accuracy, sourcing, and disclosure. Published contributors receive a byline and an author bio.
