Eduardo Lorenzo Arevalo isn’t your typical founder, and Synergize Services isn’t your typical logistics company. Based in Tampa, Synergize is operating at the intersection of clean energy, advanced materials, and global logistics, with a client roster that includes Fortune 500s and defense giants like Northrop Grumman. In this Q&A, Arevalo shares why he chose to build his company in Florida, how he’s blending purpose with scalability, and what’s next as Synergize prepares to launch transformative infrastructure projects across the U.S. and beyond.
1. Tampa isn’t the first place most people think of when it comes to infrastructure innovation. Why did you choose to build Synergize Services here, and how has Florida’s startup ecosystem supported your vision?
Tampa has been home for most of my life. Statistically, the city has experienced steady growth over the past couple of decades. While I may be biased because I am from here, we saw a significant wealth transfer into Florida after the pandemic, and Tampa, one of the state’s top hubs, has expanded dramatically as a result. With so much talent coming in, keeping operations here is a no brainer.
2. You’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies and secured high-level contracts with major defense players like Northrop Grumman. How did you position Synergize to win those deals as a relatively young company?
I stay loyal and true to my word and to the roles I take on in life. Many of my biggest breakthroughs have come from that mindset. When I started Synergize Services and entered the green energy space, I did not cut ties with the firm that had originally employed me. Instead, we restructured our agreement and continued to collaborate.
I built Synergize Services through high-level networking, learning about AI, and expanding my team. After establishing my value, I was able to collaborate on a higher level with my former firm and earn the trust of companies like Northrop and other Fortune 500 organizations.
When you honor certain business relationships and share core values, you do not always have to outgrow them. You can grow, restructure, and engage in new ways.
3. Synergize is blending logistics with clean energy, advanced materials, and even international diplomacy. What does that intersection look like in practice and how are you building a team to keep up?
It’s strange, but to me, this all feels like the natural order of things. Logistics is my profession and trade. By consistently doing my best and operating at the highest level I can, I have become one of the top logistics consultants in the United States.
Logistics is like a physical network of all the tangible goods we need and use. Today, we tend to think of networks in terms of electronics, the internet, and social media, but logistics is the network that moves real, physical goods around the world.
By providing transportation methods and logistical support to several major companies across the country and internationally, including government agencies and the military, I have naturally built a powerful network of movers and shakers. Finding alignment among them and bringing technologies together for a better future is an opportunity I cannot pass up.
4. A lot of founders talk about “purpose” but struggle to scale it. How do you keep your mission front and center while growing a complex, multi-sector business?
Collaboration. One of the core doctrines of my faith when it comes to purpose is that we’re all parts of a body, with a primary function for each of us. But if we align the body and respect each other’s function, we can orchestrate a force never before seen to mankind. We are at a key place in our story as humans, where social media, technology, and logistics have woven our lives together in never before seen ways. It’s time to do something magical with this newfound capacity. Synergy on a global scale!
5. What’s next for Synergize in 2025 and beyond, from product expansion to global partnerships? And how can Florida play a role in that future?
At Synergize Services, we have spent the past two years strategizing the best ways to implement world-changing technologies. Now, in 2025, we are ready to begin executing projects across the country. The United States has recently placed a renewed focus on manufacturing and emerging technologies in the energy sector, and we believe we can help bring some of the brightest minds and most effective solutions together for communities worldwide, starting here in the U.S., and hopefully right here in Florida.
We believe our solutions will benefit the environment, strengthen national security through energy independence, and generate strong revenue streams that contribute to a more resilient economy.
