Endeavor Miami has announced its latest EndeavorLAB Women Founders Cohort, featuring 10 high-growth companies led by visionary female entrepreneurs. This new cohort is a testament to the growing influence of diverse leadership in Miami’s business ecosystem, reflecting a commitment to fostering inclusive economic growth and empowering women founders.

The cohort exemplifies diversity, with 14 co-founders from varied backgrounds: 10 are Latinx, three of Israeli descent, and one white. Six of the companies are led solely by women, while four include male co-founders, showcasing the benefits of mixed-gender leadership. Seven companies feature multiple co-founders, emphasizing the power of collaborative entrepreneurship, while three are led by solo female founders.

The selected companies represent a wide range of industries, including healthcare, fintech, SaaS, travel, and hospitality. Seven businesses focus on B2B models, while the others have integrated B2B and B2C strategies, offering a glimpse into the diversity of business approaches shaping Miami’s entrepreneurial scene.

These companies, many of which have been in operation for three years or less, are driving innovation and economic growth in the region. Collectively, they employ 106 people, with company sizes ranging from two to 30 employees and a median of seven. In 2023, the cohort generated $1.1 million in revenue, with an average revenue of $113,000 and a median of $44,000.

Looking ahead, the founders are optimistic about scaling their businesses, projecting more than $6 million in combined revenue for 2024. With an average growth rate exceeding 1,000% and a median year-over-year growth rate of 146%, these companies are poised to make a significant impact in their respective industries.

Through the EndeavorLAB program, participants will receive customized mentorship, strategic workshops, and curated networking opportunities to help them scale their businesses and expand their market reach. This initiative is part of a broader effort, supported by JPMorgan Chase, Tech Equity Miami, and Venture Miami, to fuel local entrepreneurship and foster sustainable economic development.

Claudia Duran, Regional Managing Director of North America and Endeavor Miami, emphasized the importance of the program, stating, “EndeavorLAB’s newest women’s cohort exemplifies our commitment to empowering high-impact entrepreneurs who are transforming industries and driving both local and global economic growth. These remarkable founders are leading the way in sectors ranging from healthcare innovation to fintech solutions, and we are thrilled to support their journeys as they scale and make an even greater impact.”

Kevin Huntting, Founder of Lead FORWARD and a mentor with Endeavor Miami, expressed his enthusiasm for the cohort after leading a session with the entrepreneurs. “I had the absolute joy of working with an incredible group of female entrepreneurs this past Tuesday, and let me tell you, it was invigorating! We gathered for a vibrant 90-minute session where we dove deep into the transformative power of vulnerability as a tool to fuel performance. Through interactive discussions and activities, we explored how vulnerability isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a strength that can propel us to greater heights in our businesses and lives.”
