In Florida, hurricanes are a reality. So are catastrophic fires, commercial property losses, and insurance disputes that can leave property owners navigating one of the most financially devastating moments of their lives. For most policyholders, the claims process is unfamiliar territory. For Noble Public Adjusting Group, it has become a national operation built around one thing: maximizing recovery in the largest and most complex property insurance claims in the country.
Founded in 2011 by Bo Williamson, Noble Public Adjusting Group has quietly grown from a Florida based operation into what the company describes as the nation’s highest rated and most dominant public adjusting firm. Today, the company operates across all 50 states, with full service capabilities in 46, and has recovered more than $10 billion across over 10,000 claims.
But Noble is not trying to compete across every segment of the insurance claims market. Instead, the company built its business around the cases most firms avoid. “We built Noble specifically for large loss claims,” Williamson said. “The biggest fires. The catastrophic hurricanes. The highly complex commercial losses. Those are the claims where expertise changes outcomes.”
That specialization has become the foundation of Noble’s national positioning. The firm focuses almost exclusively on high severity property damage disputes, particularly fire and hurricane claims, where valuations can reach into the millions and negotiations often become deeply technical.
The company says its growth has been driven by a simple imbalance in the market: policyholders facing catastrophic losses are often up against insurance carriers with significantly greater internal resources, data, and negotiating power.
Noble’s role is to close that gap. The company manages the full claims process for homeowners and commercial property owners, including documentation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement strategy. According to the firm, the scale of that operation is what separates Noble from traditional public adjusting businesses, many of which remain regional or smaller in scope.
Noble now positions itself as the only national authority built specifically for large loss insurance recovery at scale. That positioning has been amplified by a growing media presence and an aggressive focus on brand authority. The company is also behind Insurance Wars, a reality television series centered on real world property insurance disputes and claims negotiations, making it the only public adjusting firm in the country with a television platform dedicated to the industry.
For Williamson, brand visibility is part of a larger effort to modernize how public adjusting is understood. “A lot of people don’t realize they have representation options during a major insurance dispute,” he said. “We wanted to bring visibility and transparency into an industry that historically operated behind closed doors.”
The company’s rise also reflects a broader shift happening across Florida and other disaster-prone states, where increasing storm severity and rising property values have created significantly larger and more complex insurance claims. As catastrophic weather events become more frequent, demand for experienced claims representation has accelerated.
Noble has leaned heavily into that environment, particularly in hurricane recovery markets across the Southeast and Gulf Coast. The company has also earned significant recognition from the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce, receiving the 2014 Best of Panama City Beach Award and Business of the Quarter distinction, followed by the 2017 Business Excellence Award and Business of the Year honors. At the same time, industry publications have highlighted Noble’s rapid national growth and leadership in large loss claims.
At the center of the business remains Williamson, whose technical background in insurance appraisals has helped shape the firm’s operational structure. According to Noble, Williamson holds the record for the most insurance appraisals completed by a single individual in one year, a benchmark the company credits with helping establish its internal systems and large scale claims infrastructure.
Now, as Noble continues expanding nationally, the company is positioning itself less as a traditional service provider and more as a category defining force within property insurance recovery.
In an industry often associated with paperwork and disputes, Noble is building something closer to a large scale claims authority platform, one designed specifically for the highest stakes property losses in the country. And as catastrophic claims continue to rise nationwide, the Florida founded firm is betting that demand for elite large loss expertise is only getting started.
